Healthy Habits...

 

  This year, as in many years past, one of my goals is to loose weight and maintain a healthier mental and physical lifestyle.  I don't like to consider myself on a "diet" per say because diet generally implies crash dieting and deprivation, my goal is to simply be healthier -- for the rest of my life so I no longer have to make the same resolution every year.  I have been on a "diet" a few times in my young life, and have lost weight successfully, however was not able to maintain my new weight after starting college. (We all gain the freshman 15 and mine just kept adding on every year afterwards).  I hope that as I go through my journey of health & fitness that those reading will be helped on their goals as well, and also help to keep me focused and inspired.  I do not claim a professional fitness expert but hopefully I will able to share the real life of loosing weight and being healthier and showing the ups and downs of a life change.
     On these future fitness blog posts I will be sharing my own body changes, healthy food finds, hints & tricks I learn, workouts, and anything I believe would be useful to those of you reading who are on the same path as myself.
